Dear fellow American voter and would be voter,
As a former Democrat, turned independence party member, and a staunch supporter of both the tea party, occupy party, as well as other ‘dissident’ platforms which refuse to be labeled as Democrat or Republican, I support Ron Paul’s republican primary candidacy. I cannot vote for him in the New York Republican Primaries, because NYS Republican Party requires you register republican six months before the primaries. Such is the Two Party Stranglehold in my state
I am asking you, the Liberal progressives and Occupiers out there, to find out if your State is having Open Republican Primaries, and to vote in the Open Primaries and Caucuses----ensuring Ron Paul wins.I urge you, specifically those of you on the left, as incredulous as this might seem, to join me, Ralph Nader, and other leftist supporters of Ron Paul, in this effort to get a third party candidate who is a Republican In Name Only; a candidate who has pushed himself up without corporate and bank money; a candidate who is undermined by his own party and is lied about by both fox news and other mass media news outlets---to clinch the Republican Primaries. The left, so complacent with their dissapointment in Obama, are willing to be taken for fools by the Mass Media’s smear campaigns and allegations that Ron Paul is a deep hearted racist , homophobe, and other nonsense. It was convenient for the liberal progressives to see the naked truth regarding manipulations of Obama’s image as a muslim terrorist communist in the 08’ election, but why can they not see the smear campaign against Ron Paul through these same skeptical eyes? Simply because they are distracted by identity politics. Instead, they need to refocus on the four core issues. The empire, big brother, the banks, the National Debt; as well as the Nexus that creates a feedback loop for these policy arenas; MONEY IN POLITICS.
Why am I asking you to Occupy The Republican Primaries, If i may well be voting for Obama in the runoffs? Isn’t this a waste of TIme? Why Worry About influencing which Republican will be running against Obama?
Gingrich Perry and Romney are all owned hand in fist by the banks. Do you want any of these guys to be running against Obama? What if they win? Wouldn’t you rather have Ron Paul facing off? As a liberal Progressive, you must ask yourself, would you rather watch Obama and Romney, Perry, or Gingrich ‘debate’ glib nonsense from september to november? If Romney Perry or Gingrich win the republican primaries, Ron Paul will not only be excluded from the debates as a third party candidate, but You, as an American, will have a choice to vote for a candidate who supports perpetual bailouts and perpetual warfare ( Obama, Perry, Gingrich, Romney) , or you will have a choice to stay home from the Polls, and not Vote for any candidate for President. Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate talking about the 4 core Issues, and MONEY IN POLITICS, and he deserves a chance to present a genuine debate in the runnoff election against Obama. I am more certain of this than I am of Obama’s worthiness for a second term. If you believe the two party system is a one party system like I do, then A GENUINE DEBATE IS NECESSARY MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE.
For the last few months I have worked on the 23rd floor of a large office building directly looking down upon the New York location of Occupy Wall Street at Zuccotti Park. While many of my co-workers openly mocked these people, and others spoke up on their case, I simply decided to speak with them. I’ve spent countless lunch breaks and hours before and after work speaking with and engaging participants of the Occupy movement. I found that between some of my conservative positions, and some of my liberal ones, that I am fully represented by the Occupiers and Tea Partiers, Policy preferences. If I can clearly see this, why can’t these two groups bury their disagreements about their identitiy politics, about their social policy preferences, and present a unified front on the MAJOR issues facing our nation? Anything else, is distraction and political theatre feeding the notion that both Tea Party and OWS are merely captured pawns in their respective republicrat camps.
Again, I am sincerely asking you to convince your fellow voters who are NOT registered republican to show up and swarm the Open Republican Primaries being held in 18 states.
